This programme in the field of Forestry engineering is a 4-year full-time studies programme (240 ECTS credits) taught in Romanian. Besides general skills in wood science and engineering, students also acquire specific skills related to the technological design of art and modern furniture, as well as of other wood finished products (doors, windows, musical instruments, toys, packages, sports objects, etc.). Other competences regard technical and technological knowledge in the field of wood materials and wood-based composites, as well as in furniture conservation-restoration. The organization and management of production processes in the furniture and wood finished products industry complement the specialized training of the future engineers.
Perspectives after graduation: engineer in furniture and wood products design; technological engineer in manufacturing furniture and other wood finished products; engineer for interior design; advanced studies in master’s and doctoral programs in Forestry engineering.
This programme offers full-time or part-time studies in the field of Forestry engineering and consists in 4 years of study (240 ECTS credits). Students acquire skills related to wood processing technology, technical and technological design of furniture and other wood finished products, processing of wood raw materials (veneers, plywood, panels made of shavings and wood fibers, etc.), product design using 2D and 3D modelling.
